Pietro Battaglia is a marine biologist. He works at SZN as researcher. His studies are aimed to investigate various aspects of marine cephalopod and fish biology and ecology as well as fishery resourcesand management. Special attention is also given to Mediterranean mesopelagic and bathypelagic species. Other research topics: age and growth, taxonomy, trophic ecology, marine litter, biodiversity in marine habitats, non-indigenous species.
