Giovanni Cera

Since 2010 he is interested in botanical and nature art. He has transferred his experience as architect and illustrator in his botanical artwork, being as much as possible detailed and scientifically correct. His preferred subjects are spontaneous plants, which he likes to portray according to their natural geographic habitat. He is interested in Mediterranean and Italian Apennine Flora, as well as in studying the geometrical shapes and structures of plants, describing the laws and the ways that regulate their accretion. He is self-taught. Preferred medium is watercolour on paper. He is fellow member of the Society of Botanical Artists (SBA) of England.
